Beautiful hardware shouldn't be a luxury reserved for the few.

I started Bergamo Design after renovating my own home in Sydney and discovering that hardware made from real solid brass, marble and timber was almost always wildly overpriced. So I set out to make it myself, pieces I'd be proud to put on my own doors, at a price that's actually fair.

Today, Bergamo Design makes solid brass door and cabinet hardware paired with the natural materials we love working with: solid marble, natural timber, and hand-stitched leather. Every piece is made to order and crafted to last, so what arrives at your home feels considered, substantial, and built to be lived with for years.

Why we can offer this quality for less

We keep things deliberately simple. We don't carry the cost of large retail networks, showrooms, or the traditional markups that add to a price without adding anything to the product. Instead, we put our resources where they matter, exceptional materials, precise workmanship, and a thoughtful buying experience. That's how we offer genuine quality at an honest price.

Made to order, made properly

Because each piece is made to order, every order takes around 2 to 3 weeks to produce before it's dispatched via Express Post. It's a little slower than mass-produced hardware off a shelf, and that's the point. It means your hardware is made for you, finished carefully, and checked before it leaves us.
